best mini DV camera with FireWire port?
I am looking for suggestions / experience / etc what would be the best (quality) camera in the sub $ 400 range. A mini-DV, and you must have a FireWire port, because I have a mac. I bought the samsung d372 cheap and realized that I really want something of quality. The image is so grainy. . . registration of driving, you can not even distinguish it from the road. I use it for a road trip and I really think everything is clear. I do not expect HD quality, I just feel that details such as road signs must be readable. smaller is better, as regards the size of the camcorder. Light is a plus, but if not, no big deal.
