How do I link my Mini-DV Camcorder JVC GR-DA30US on my computer?

I have a mini-DV Camcorder JVC GR-DA30US I got for Christmas a few years ago. I made a few videos on my computer (Windows Vista I have for my birthday this year), but I can not connect the camera.
