I need a camcorder that I can add special effects to easily; record good looking video; something that works good in dark lighting; and is no more than 600$. Basically I need a good camcorder that I can make movies with. I’ve been working with a digital camera so far and its really easy to just drag and drop the video into my computer were I can then add all the effects, the problem is that the video isn’t that great looking. . . so, once again, I need a camcorder that can record nice looking video and then let me easily add effects to it without its format messing me up. Like if the video was mpeg or avi. . it would be really easy for me to add effects to it, but if its dvd or something like that I don’t want to take the trouble of converting it and degreading the qualaty. So what would work best for me: dvd, mini dv, or HD(High definition)? Lighting has to be good on it too. . .
